What is a
virtual run?
A virtual run is a race that you can complete at your own pace and time.
Virtual running works exactly the same as any other type of running but the difference is that the entered race can be run at any location, either outside or inside on a treadmill.
All you have to do is register for a race and provide evidence that you have done it. The evidence can be a screenshot of your running app, a photo of the treadmill screen etc. Do check out specific instructions of the event you join for more information.
Virtual races are a great way to stay fit and active all year round, run for good causes and get awesome medals and other entitlements for your participation!

More
information
BHR is marking its 12th Anniversary this year by having its first-ever virtual race to rally all runners to run solo and run in solidarity towards the end of this COVID Pandemic tunnel we are currently in.
The EPIC Run 2020, a race where each and every one of us plays a critical role to turn around the situation before us. Commit to run at least 12km per week over a period of 12 weeks. Run Solo, Run Responsibly. Run when and where there’s no crowd. Run safe for your family, for yourself and for all of us alike.
Together, let’s run towards Zero COVID case reported. Week after week, as we complete our submissions of 12km/12kms, we look forward to decreasing reported case. At the end of 12 weeks (11th July), we hope to see Zero or lowest case and things can be back to some normalcy.
Rules & Regulations
1) Run a minimum total of 144km over a period of 12 weeks ending 18th July ( average 12km per week as a guide to hit 144km )
2) No limit to each distance run per session/upload. You can do and submit any distance that is more than 12km.
3) You are encouraged to upload and submit screenshot(s) of your finished run/runs as soon as after you completed each run or by end of each week ending on a Saturday. 18th July being the last Saturday for final submission (no restriction to the number of times you can submit each week)
*All runners are expected to have and uphold runner’s integrity and honour by submitting only runs done by themselves at all times. Run to a healthier, fitter and faster you. Run Solo, Run Responsibly.
Individual & Team Prizes
- Top 3 positions for both Individual and Team categories are awarded based on total accumulated distance. Should there be a tie, the organiser’s decision based on other factors taken into consideration will be FINAL.
- Team category consists strictly of 6 runners only. No restriction to Age and minimum 2 female runners per team.
- Only submit individual runs. To participate in the Team category, you will need to indicate your Team’s name (Total of 6 runners only)
