The 5k and 10k event takes place at 8PM on the 15th of November.

Run in the Dark pop-ups are casual fun runs managed by our network of volunteers around the world. Pop-up events do not include road closures or chip timing and participants receive their armband at registration on the night of the event.

Pop-up participants can time their 5k or 10k on the Run in the Dark app to join the global leaderboard with runners from 2,000 cities around the world.

As darkness sweeps around the globe in mid-November 2023, 25,000 people worldwide will get up from their armchairs, slip on their red flashing armbands and pull on their running shoes to run in the dark. It kicks off in Dublin at 8pm on Tuesday, the 14th of November before thousands of others take part on Wednesday, the 15th of November in 50+ other cities, including Singapore. Our mission is to cure paralysis within our lifetime, we run for those who dream to walk.
