The Albie Thomas Bayside Fun Run has 2km and 5km fun run events, starting and finishing at Peter Depena Reserve in Dolls Point, Sydney.
St George DAC has assisted in the running of the Bayside Fun Run for many years with their past president Albie Thomas taking a vital role in the administration of the event. Albie was a multi-Olympian and world record holder and sadly passed last year. In memory of his achievements and services to running the event is now named after him.
Monies raised go to the Knights of St George Heart Association to help in the purchase of equipment for the Cardiothoracic Unit at St George Hospital.
