The Queenstown International Marathon is an international running festival incorporating a 42 km marathon, 21 km half marathon, 10 km fun run and 3 km kids run options.
New for 2017 is the "first half half marathon", which will be limited in numbers, with the proviso however that entrants have competed in any previous race distance through the event's three year history. The original course half marathon will also be run.
Set between the backdrop of the world renowned Crown and Remarkable mountain ranges, and taking in the best highlights of the Queenstown Lakes region including Millbrook resort, Arrowtown, Lake Hayes, Shotover River, Lake Wakatipu, Queenstown Gardens and finishing in the heart of Queenstown itself.
