Sunway The Good Run 2017

The Good Run is line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDG), notably SDG # 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG#9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), SDG#11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) and SDG#12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) that underscores Sunway Group’s commitment to the SDG. http://www.undp.org/content/undp/en/home/sustainable-development-goals.html

The run will take place in and around Malaysia's first fully-integrated green township Sunway City, where 15km-runners will have the opportunity of a lifetime to race on the elevated tracks of the Bus Rapid Transport (BRT) - Sunway Line, a sustainable infrastructure on which eco-friendly electric buses run (SDG#11).

In our effort to espouse SDG #12, participants are encouraged to rehydrate at water stops using the free collapsible cups that is part of your registration entitlement, or bring your own soft flask. Your Dri-FIT tee will be made from recycled polyethylene terephthalate, or recycled PET (RPET). During the race kit collection, join us at Sunway Geo where you can take part in activities and workshops to learn about sustainable living practices.

All proceeds from The Good Run will be channelled to a cancer support group (SDG#3).
