More about this event
The Sydney Summer Twilight Series event at Crestwood Reserve, Baulkham Hills on Tuesday, 5 December 2017 is one of a number of events in the Sydney Metro area over the summer.
The start point is the entrance to Crestwood Reserve on Peel Road, near Boonal Street. There is a Scout Hall just inside the gate on the right. There will be water and Zooper Doopers available at the finish. There are also BBQ facilities in the Reserve if anyone wants to have their own BBQ dinner.
The series is organised informally by volunteer hosts, who facilitate the event on their preferred date and venue. Races are held in the twilight so that runners can race after work. All are welcome.
The philosophy of the series is: "First and foremost, all ability levels are welcome. However long it takes you to complete the distance is the time it takes you to complete the distance. Anyone who believes that there should be a time limit criteria has got the wrong series. Whether you hop skip walk fart hobble run to get the distance is irrelevant, turning up and having a go is what it is all about. If you are worried about this being elitist, you couldn't be further off the mark."
