Arts From The Heart Charity Carnival 2018

Arts From The Heart 2018 is a charity event, consisting of a Fun Run and a Carnival held concurrently. The main aim of the event is to help raise funds and awareness for our beneficiary – Singapore Cancer Society. Additionally, we hope to promote the arts to the general public.All proceeds from the carnival and the fun run will be donated to our beneficiary. This includes 100 % of our carnival ticket sales. In addition, our main sponsor, Young Scientist, will be donating $1.50 per kilometer ran by the participants of the fun run.

Different from conventional runs, our Fun Run is one that is free and easy. As mentioned, the run will begin at 4.30 p.m. and end by 7 p.m. Runners have to complete a minimum of 3 km (the distance of 1 round), and can continue thereafter for as many rounds as they wish, as long as it is within the stipulated timing. As mentioned, $1.50 will be donated by our main sponsor for every kilometer clocked. Hence, a full round will mean that $4.50 to be donated. In the event of bad weather (e.g. rain, haze), the organizing committee may choose to delay or cancel the run as per their discretion.
