The race
Take a mountainous, wild and preserved area, welcoming people, landscapes of incomparable beauty, nature in the raw, orchestrated by great running champions ... and you have the recipe for the TAM, Trans Atlas Marathon!
The TAM is an ultra marathon of 275 km in 6 step 17 á 66 km a day with 15000 m +/- food and semi-self-sufficiency. Each competitor must carry their equipment and food of the day during the race. The route is marked and participants have a road book; the rest of their luggage will be transported to the end of each stage.
