Batik Fun Walk 2017

The Batik Fun Walk is jointly organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports Malaysia and Persatuan Minda Penyayang Malaysia (PMPM) and Yayasan Budi Penyayang Malaysia (YBPM). Yang Berhormat Brigadier General Khairy Jamaluddin, Minister of Youth and Sports Malaysia, will flag off the participants of the Batik Fun Walk 2017. The Batik Fun Walk is held in conjunction with the FIT Malaysia campaign by the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Besides having fun walking, this Walk aims to promote Batik as our National Heritage. Participants show off their creativity in using batik at the event. Friends, families and colleagues get together and have fun while walking.

The Batik Fun Walk is an event that is suitable for all ages as there is no age limit or age requirements to participate. It is an activity that everyone in the family can take part in and enjoy.

In Support of Cancer Support Group

Funds raised will be donated to cancer initiatives via Penyayang Pesakit Kanser (PPK) which has a presence in the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and the Putrajaya Hospital (HPJ).PPK serves as a support group for cancer patients.It organizes and manages volunteers to serve as an effective cancer patient support team by providing relevant support for cancer patients and their families.
