More about this event
The Bondi to Bronte on Sunday, 3 December 2017 is one of Sydney and Australia's most iconic ocean swims. Starting at Bondi Beach, swimmers finish their journey at Bronte SLSC, the world’s first Surf Life Saving club.
The Bondi to Bronte course traditionally starts in front of Bondi Pavilion, runs out from Bondi, around Mackenzie’s Point and down the coast into Bronte Beach, a total distance of 2.1km to 2.4km, depending on the positioning of the buoy off McKenzie's point.
The 800 metre Bondi Bay Swim is the ideal stepping stone to the longer B2B event and for seasoned swimmers wanting to push their limits and complete two distances. The course starts and finishes in the same location on Bondi Beach, so all swimmers can have their family and friends to cheer them on and celebrate with them at the finish.
The Junior Ocean Swims start and finish in front of the Bronte SLSC.
