  More about this event
Welcome to the second year of the South Australian Coastal Challenge!

Started by Matt Angus and a number of his enthusiastic following in 2015, such a good time was had that Matt decided it HAD to be done again. And it was, in 2016, as a proper event. We had 80 runners turn out for the inaugural event, with great success.

Starting in the southern coastal hamlet of Aldinga, with its pristine beaches and quiet surrounds as the backdrop, the run takes competitors north past the reefs of Seaford, the rocky beaches of Hallett Cove, the busy beaches of Brighton and Glenelg before finishing the final kilometres along the wide expanses of the beaches at Largs Bay and North Haven.

There will be a number of checkpoints with basic food and hydration along the way, though runners will be expected to carry fluid and nutrition with them. Especially with the potential for the day to be warm! There is also a 12 Hour cutoff. A bus will be arranged to take runners from the Finish to the Start for those who might find it useful. Tickets can be booked within this entry form.
