The December HOOK is two marathons to raise funds for Salvation Army Christmas Assistance in the Local Area, with the first on Sunday, 17 December 2017.
There are also 21.1km half marathon and 10km fun runs at each event.
The course is a loop covering fire trails, grassed area and minimal road along the picturesque pristine foreshores of Lake Macquarie.
