Event day schedule:
Check in: 8.00am at Goomboora Park.
Transport is included in the race fee. The bus departs Goomboora Park at 8.15am to travel to the start at Copperlode Dam. Competitors who require a lift from Cairns Colonial Club Resort will be picked up at 7.30am from the resort.
Race starts at 9.00am. (Time may vary, as the start of the race is dependent on when the front runners from the Cairns Marathon and 3M3D Grand Slam come through the checkpoint at Copperlode Dam).

In its second year, the 16km Lake Morris Road Race starts at the kiosk at Copperlode Dam and and finishes at Goomboora Park in Brinsmead, Cairns.
