Every day, 15 people die from heart disease and stroke in Singapore. In 2011, the total number of deaths from cardiovascular disease stood at 5,548, of which, 2,423 were women. Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death globally and it is projected to remain so.

NESTLÉ® OMEGA PLUS® ACTICOL® Love Your Heart Run 2013 aims to create awareness amongst Singaporeans on the importance of good heart health and to encourage them to be proactive in taking care of their hearts.
