More about this event
Run For Inclusion is organised annually to promote integration and nurture an inclusive Singapore for the people with special needs. Run For Inclusion 2023 is one of Singapore’s only mass running events where participants run alongside hearing, intellectually, physically and visually-challenged runners. Since 2015, the event held annually by Runninghour Co-operative Limited, seeking to empower Persons with Special Needs(PWSN) to participate in mainstream activities and events, and to promote awareness towards the PWSN community through sports.
Run For Inclusion will be a rallying call for Singaporeans to come together and show their support towards integrating people with special needs.
There will be an additional segment which is Runninghour Signature Blindfold Run/Walk for the first kilometre. Participants may choose to be blindfolded for the first 500m and partner with a sighted person, then swap the role for the next 500m before continuing the rest of the route without a blindfold. Participants can choose to do the whole route without being blindfolded. And if participants do not have a partner, we will assign a volunteer to partner them for the first kilometre.
