I signed up very early just because of the distance (which is 32K) and without checking the route. If I knew that it’s gonna be in loops, I might have had second thoughts. But it turned out to be not so bad after all.
However, while I don’t mind not having a finisher tee, having the cheapest looking medal design and not indicating the distance achieved is discouraging to get in for the second round next year. If it is something about managing the cost, they should’ve probably removed the date as well so they can reuse the medal for next year.
The hydration stations are quite adequate. I just got worried about the energy drinks which came in different colors (red, blue, orage) whether it’s gonna be harmful in my body. It didn’t taste so nice as well.
Overall, it wasn’t so bad. Organisers managed it fine but I wish they didn’t that much money for themselves. I can’t remember how long they’ve been doing this but I sincerely hope next year will be A LOT better. And my second round will be entirely based on that decision they’re going to make.
