The Whangarei Half Marathon has the 21 km half marathon and 9 km fun run and walk in Whangarei as part of the Sport Northland Run/Walk Series.

This year's Half Marathon features picturesques harbour & coastal views, the Town Basin Sculpture Garden, Te Matau A Pohe Bridge & Kowhiti Foot Bridge, Drink Stations every 3 kms and entertainment along the course.

The 9km Run/Walk includes the Hatea River Track featuring stunning bush tracks and the Hatea River.
