The Whitehill Wind Farm Classic has mountain bike and cross country running and walking events. Only the 13 km running and 9 km walking events are covered here on this running calendar website.
Much of the 13 km race route is off road and follows farm tracks. This run is challenging in places but it does afford great views.
The 9 km walk is guided and goes up to the turbines via a 30 minute scenic climb and continues on with a mix of flat, undulating and a final downhill section. The walk requires a good level of fitness.
