What to expect:
The Olympic Day is commemorated worldwide to celebrate the Olympic ideals and encourage people to get active. This year’s programme includes the Team Singapore Flag Presentation which will precede the Olympic Day Celebrations. The Flag Presentation will officiate the start of Team Singapore’s journey to the Rio 2016 Olympic Games where the Rio bound athletes and officials pledge to do their best for Singapore.
This year’s the Olympic Day Celebrations with the Olympic Day Walk. This Walk is a non-competitive open category fun Walk covering a distance of 3.6km. All participants will receive an official certificate of participation issued by the International Olympic Committee.
After the Walk, participants are encouraged to join in the Olympic Day Carnival that will comprise of various Olympic Sports related try-outs and activities.
