with regards to the latest 2xU SG ultra marathon the organizer is very disrespectful to the participants in the ultra distance events. Since the completion of the event, they did not mention a single word of appreciation for the runners efforts. The event is SG Ultra yet they focused all the attention to the 10km & 21km events especially towards the pacers. Any reviews be it good or bad should also be responded yet they avoided so many comments posted to them. The amount of registration money seems to have gone towards the over program instead? They’re like making use of the Ultra tag line to draw attention yet failing the runners who ran those distances.
Poorly organised ultra race. No support, no claps or cheers at the finish line for the returning ultra runners. No finisher tee at end point. All the focus seems to be on the 10k and 21k runners only. Please do not organise an ultra if you are not interested in the ultra runners. It’s an insult to the ultra runners’ effort. Route is super boring too. Will not join again.
